Our certified Falk RENEW machine shop is designed and fully equipped for the sole purpose of repairing speed reducers. We can handle almost any gearbox repair, no matter how large or small the job. Our facility includes:
- High-pressure steam room to thoroughly clean all of the speed reducers we repair prior to inspection.
- Lathes, both large and small, for manufacturing or re-machining parts (for example, shafts from factory drawings when they are not available from the OEM).
- Large-capacity boring mill for repairing even the largest housings with spun bearing bores.
- Large-capacity vertical press to assist us in pressing shafts and gears.
- Fully adjustable test bench to spin test reducers after repair.
- Vibration analysis equipment to provide customers with a performance benchmark before the repaired unit is put into service.
- Immediate access to original sales, engineering and production data for Falk equipment.
Our Inventory
We stock the largest inventory of Falk surplus parts in the industry, along with an off-site warehouse full of housings and complete speed reducers. Each surplus speed reducer we purchase – new or used – is thoroughly cleaned, inspected and inventoried; we scrap the worn parts and keep the useful ones. This allows us to maintain a robust supply of the parts we need in order to provide fast, cost-effective gearbox repairs.
