Shipping and Fishing

More than 70 years ago, Mar-Dustrial was originally founded to supply the commercial fishing and shipping industries in the Pacific Northwest with marine and industrial equipment. Mar-Dustrial supplies fluid sealing products, valves and deck equipment for marine operations, such as:

Pulp and Paper

When the fishing and shipping industries began to wane, Northwest pulp and paper industries began expanding, creating a large demand for couplings and speed reducers to power agitators that stirred large vats. In 1976, Mar-Dustrial collaborated with the Falk Corporation to become a much-needed distributor willing to inventory the high-demand parts. The addition of a Mar-Dustrial branch in Longview, Wash., in 1986 allowed us to better serve the needs of state’s pulp and paper industry.

Mining

After supplying the pulp and paper industries with power transmission products for 20 years, Mar-Dustrial further expanded, opening a branch in Elko, Nev., and began serving the local mining industry in 1996. The products and services provided by the Elko branch have helped keep the mining industry running smoothly for more than two decades.
